We were a group of 15 people and booked our complete Jammu & Kashmir trip through Gupta Ji. Our package included 2 nights in Katra and the remaining stay in Kashmir.
Our stay at Hotel Katra Retreat was truly wonderful. All the services were excellent, and the rooms were well-equipped with every necessary facility. The rooms were very clean, properly ventilated, and well-maintained. The bathrooms were also spotless and hygienic.
The reception staff was available 24 hours, always ready to assist us whenever needed. Since it is a new hotel, everything felt fresh and well-organized. The hotel has a very warm and family-friendly atmosphere, and the staff is extremely cooperative and supportive.
Overall, we had a great experience. Highly recommended Katra Retreat — one of the best hotels in Katra!

I came to Katra with my family and checked many hotels online. After so much searching, I became confused about which hotel to choose. Then I received an update from Katra Retreat, and they offered us a very good deal. Gupta Ji assured us that our stay would be very comfortable.
Our train arrived early in the morning, and we were provided with rooms in the morning itself. The driver also picked us up on time. Everything that Gupta Ji promised was provided to us, and we are satisfied with the hotel services.

Our experience at Hotel Katra Retreat was comfortable, smooth, and genuinely welcoming. From the moment we arrived, the property provided a peaceful atmosphere to relax and recharge. The owner, Mr. Ashok Thakur, personally ensured that every detail was taken care of, offering remarkable hospitality and guidance that made our visit stress-free.
We stayed in an AC Deluxe Room, which was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and offered a soothing ambiance. The staff, Omkar singh and Arvinder Singh was courteous, quick to respond, and always ready to lend helpful assistance with a friendly demeanor.
The food was another highlight of our stay. We started our morning with a delicious breakfast of freshly prepared poha, crisp bread toast, and hot tea. For dinner, we were served a comforting bowl of dal khichdi paired perfectly with crispy aloo bhujia and papad—a simple, wholesome, and delicious meal after a long day.
Overall, it was a very nice stay. Hotel Katra Retreat combines warm hospitality with great comfort, and we highly recommend it to fellow travelers.

Our stay at Katra retreat was one of the best part of our trip. The owner was very friendly & even arranged to drop us to Banganga.
Room & bathroom were Clean. It is near Durga Bus stand & Moonlight bus stand . Also, at a sweet distance from main road -->No Traffic & Easy access.

Best hotel in katra The hotel is very good and offers excellent service. It is a new hotel with a very cooperative staff. The washrooms are also completely clean. There is no complaint at all—everything is great. Mr. Gupta fully cooperated with us. We had a very pleasant stay at Katra Retreat.

This is a new hotel it is right near the main market. There are food facilities all around, and it's within walking distance of the main market. The railway station is also easily accessible. Rates are reasonable. Overall our stay was peaceful in katra retreat

We visited with family and had a really great experience. The hotel staff was really helpful throughout our stay. Additionally, the manager was kind enough to allow us an early check-in for all of our rooms, which made our trip so much smoother. Highly recommended!!!!!!

We had two nights of stay here. Peaceful. Had good sleep. Staff are friendly. Cooked and gave food of our choice. Sri Ashok Thakur was managing the show. He was very talkative and helpful. Overall it is a nice experience 😃
